The Andrew Ryback Photography and The Plaid Horse Higher Learning Scholarship is returning in 2022. Over the past years, the scholarship has awarded over $10,000 to students pursuing higher education. 

The scholarship is open to high school seniors graduating in 2022 and all current college and trade school students. To apply, submit the following to editor@theplaidhorse.com and complete this form:

1. Three-part essay (please complete parts A, B, and C):

Part A: A horse show photographer is important because…

Part B: What about being an equestrian has taught you about success and failure?

Part C: Please tell us about someone in the horse industry that inspires you and why?

2. A color photo.

3. Two letters of recommendation.

4. Unofficial or official high school or college transcript(s).

5. A letter of acceptance from a college or university.
